Win 2 FREE Tickets to The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus

How would like to win 2 tickets to The Ringing Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus? It’s very simple. But first, let me tell you why I decided to hold this giveaway.

On June 24, 2016, I watched a co-sponsored ABC7 News/Vons promotion on TV for their annual food drive in Costa Mesa, CA. I immediately decided that ABC7 News/Vons promotion would be a great opportunity for me to give back to the community. So, I went to Von’s and purchased $308.71 ($181.25 after savings) worth of non-perishable food goods for the drive. Upon delivering my donation to the ABC7 News crew, I was unexpectedly presented with 2 tickets to the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey “Out of This World” circus event. My initial thought was to decline the offer for these tickets. My decision to give to the food drive wasn’t compelled by the idea of receiving something in return. In my mind, I was thinking that accepting the tickets sort of defeated my purpose of being a blessing to someone else.. But after a moment of thought, I decided to accept the tickets, so that I could extend my original (food drive) donation to someone else by giving them an opportunity to go to this event for free.

I’m very transparent personally and professionally. So, here’s the deal.. Although BAP Media Group is in the business of helping other companies by selling our branding and marketing services, this giveaway is not one of those opportunities. You are not required to “Like” my page or post. And you’re not required to “Follow” me on Twitter or Facebook or “Connect” with me on LinkedIn to participate in this giveaway.

To be entered into the giveaway/contest, all you’ll have to do is to email me a selfie of you holding a sign that says, “BAP Media Group Sent Me to the Circus!” My 12 year old son, Skye and I will select the winner based on your creatively. Please don’t feel compelled to spend a lot of money on creating your sign. You can be very creative just by using colored markers, pen/pencil, or even finger paint if you wish. The winner’s selfie will be posted on my Twitter and/or Facebook page accounts. You must be at least 18 years old to win, but a child or your anticipated 2nd guest can be in the selfie with you. To qualify for the giveaway, you must submit your entry on or before this coming Wednesday, July 27, 2016. So, hurry. It’s time to get busy with your sign!

Submit your sign designs, with your name and email address to
info@bapmediagroup.com Tickets will be mailed to the winning contestant prior to the event. The event is at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA on Friday, July 29th, 2016 at 7:30 PM.

Guidelines for Promotions on Twitter

Businesses, organizations, and even some creative individuals have hosted contests and sweepstakes through their Twitter profile. Contests and sweepstakes on Twitter may offer prizes for tweeting a particular update, for following a particular user, or for posting updates with a specific hashtag. If you’ve been thinking about hosting a contest using your Twitter profile, here are some simple guidelines to follow to ensure your contest doesn't ask anyone to violate any of Twitter's rules or guidelines:

You may not create multiple accounts to enter this contest
If users make lots of accounts in order to enter a contest more than once, they’re liable to get all of their accounts suspended. Please be sure to include a rule stating that anyone found to use multiple accounts to enter will be ineligible.

You may not post the same Tweet repeatedly
Posting duplicate, or near duplicate, updates or links is a violation of the Twitter Rules and jeopardizes search quality. Please don’t set rules to encourage lots of duplicate updates, like saying, “Whoever retweets this the most wins”. Your contest or sweepstakes could cause users to be automatically filtered out of Twitter search. Plus, instead of their followers seeing your cool contest or sweepstakes, their followers might start getting annoyed by your contest. You might want to set a clear contest rule stating that multiple entries in a single day will not be accepted.

Please include an @reply to us in your update so we can see all the entries
When it comes to picking a winner, you’ll want to see all the contestants. If the updates include @username mention to you, you’ll be able to see all the updates in your Mentions timeline (see here for more information on replies and mentions). Just doing a public search may not show every single update, and some contestants may be filtered from search for quality.

Please use hashtag topics that are relevant to the contest
You might decide to have users include relevant hashtag topics along with the updates (like #contest, #giveaway or #bapmediagroup). Keep in mind that hashtag topics need to be relevant to the update; encouraging users to add your hashtag to totally unrelated updates might cause them to violate the Twitter Rules.
